BREVE CURRICULUM
BSc Agricultural Engineering, University of Córdoba, School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering
(ETSIAM-UCO), ES. MSc, Plant Production, Protection and Breeding; and MSc, Digital Transformation in the
Agri-food Sector (ETSIAM-UCO). PhD, Bio and Agri-food Sciences (ETSIAM-UCO; IAS-CSIC, Institute for
Sustainable Agriculture, Spanish National Research Council). 2016-2018 – Professor Agricultural
Engineering, University of Huelva, School of Engineering, ES. 2019-present – Assistant Professor,
Department of Aerospace Engineering and Fluid Mechanics, School of Agricultural Engineering, University
of Seville, ES. Research interests on innovative nature-based solutions (NbS) implementation – mainly,
vertical greening systems, green roofs, and those related to urban agriculture – in the urban (and rural)
environment(s) to facilitate the circular economy (CE) system and to cope with future challenges in cities;
and how new technologies and developments can be introduced within a city for its sustainability
assessment, investigated by using hi-tech approaches and NbS strategies.
